Culture program in Abarán, Moratalla, Santomera and San Javier the works of four artists of the Exhibition Space Plan (01/11/2017)

The Exhibition Spaces Plan, of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, has programmed in Abarán, Moratalla, Santomera and San Javier the artistic projects of Eva Poyato, Manuel Páez, Álvaro Peña and the collective 'LaManoRobada', respectively, that they open this week, in collaboration with the town halls.

Tomorrow Thursday, November 2, Eva Poyato will present her work 'La vida alrededor' in Abarán, a show that consists of drawings, paintings, sculptures and installations made in recent years.

In his compositions, cleanliness, order and a certain minimalism predominate, in which he shows works that look like fables and that tell about situations of an inner world.

His work opens at 8:00 p.m. and can be seen until November 17, in the Sala Adolfo Suárez.

'De banquetes y amazonas', by the artist Manuel Páez, can be seen from November 3 to 19 in the Exhibition Hall of the Convent, in Moratalla.

Páez's work is made up of current works and others made in recent years, as well as some of his preparatory sketches, along with several sculptures that he presents for the first time within this Plan.

Their works maintain their own entity unitarily, although in them there are conceptual and thematic elements in common.

The exhibition opens at 8:30 p.m.

Another exhibition that welcomes this initiative of Culture is that of Álvaro Peña, under the title 'When the noise has a heart', which will be shown in Santomera, from November 3 to 17, in the Exhibition Hall of the Casa Grande.

The exhibition includes an expressionist composition of works of great explosion of color, shapes, lines and rebellion where a poetry of unique images is manifested to capture the attention of the spectator.

The inauguration will be at 8:30 p.m.

Finally, San Javier program the work of the collective 'LaManoRobada', which opens on November 3, under the title 'The signs of the hand', and can be seen until November 18 at the Museum of San Javier.

The exhibition is composed of large photographs and has the ability to see the creative process of the works and the search for public action, which has the opportunity to write about the works.

Photography, interaction and research merge in this exhibition that opens on Friday, at 8:00 p.m.

The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, said that "the diversity of works that have been integrated into this network of exhibition spaces enriches the different views on art that are being produced in these moments in the Region. "

"There are many techniques that we have seen in the more than 30 exhibitions that we have inaugurated since the Plan was launched, and which is being complemented by an offer of talks and workshops by the artists themselves to learn the impressions on the carrying out their work, "said the head of the ICA.

Eva Poyato combines teaching with art.

She has a degree in Fine Arts and a Master's Degree in Graphic Work.

She has been granted a scholarship by the Estampa Fair in 2001. She has made several artistic residencies at the Kloster Bentlage Art Center (Germany) or Falconieri House (Sardinia).

His work has been awarded in different national competitions.

He has made several exhibitions in Spain, Italy, Germany, the United States and Shanghai.

Manuel Páez (Calasparra) has a degree in Fine Arts.

Sculptor and painter, he has belonged for more than 15 years to the Val i 30 Valencia gallery, with which he has made numerous exhibitions and participated in art fairs such as ARCO and Art Madrid among others.

From 2009 to 2015 he was an associate professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Murcia.

He has received different artistic scholarships and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in cities and municipalities of the national territory.

In addition, he has been selected in various competitions in the field of plastic arts.

Álvaro Peña is a plastic artist and holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology, as well as a corresponding academic from the Royal Academy of Alfonso X El Sabio.

It accumulates a broad multidisciplinary curriculum and its name appears in more than a hundred solo and group exhibitions in Spanish and European cities.

He has illustrated several publications and has been selected in numerous national and international artistic competitions.

'LaManoRobada' is a creative collective formed in 2011 by Marta López, Laura Mayol, Adoración Martínez, Judit Mínguez and Juan Ignacio Rico that emerged within the Faculty of Fine Arts of Murcia.

The group focuses its activity on photography and other artistic practices.

They have obtained various scholarships and have participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and in workshops and conferences.
