Mayor Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gomez, accompanied by the Councillor for Education and Rural Development, José Luis Tornero, the Family and Minors, Isabel Carrasco, and Consumer, Health and Welfare, M ª Carmen Turner, opened on Wednesday March 23 the new playground facility located in the Park Norias.

The project of remodeling the infant equipment Norias Park has been carried out thanks to a grant of more than 10,000 euros granted by the Leader approach, within the Regional Programme for Rural Development.

The Councillor for Education said: "The new facilities have replaced the attractions for children that were already damaged."

Tornero said that it is intended for the use and enjoyment of children of the locality and stressed the need for care to prevent its rapid deterioration.
