The Regional Federation has designated the town as the venue for this last leg of the competition to be held next April in the municipal sports center "Prince of Asturias" and encounter different Autonomous teams including Abaranera Association and UD Abarán

Abarán welcomes the month of April the regional finals in the categories Federated Handball juvenile male, second division male and female cadet.

Matches in the last leg of the competition will be held in early April in the municipal sports center "Prince of Asturias."

The good relationship which the Department of Sports City and the Federation of Murcia, and the long history of handball in this locality have been decisive for the regional agency designated by the municipality to host the regional finals, which are presumed to be closely contested.

In the finals of Men's Junior Handball, played on 1,2 and 3 April, will face Marist Cartagena, Eliorca (Lorca), CB Murcia and Abaranera.

The final phase of the Second Division Men face ADEMUR, Abarán, Roland and Jumilla or Cartagena and will take place on 8, 9 and 10 April.

Finally, the female cadet finals will take place on 8 and 9 April and it will face teams from Jumilla, Murcia and UD Abarán CB.
