The implementation of e-administration, the installation of a wireless communication system for connecting municipal buildings, wifi access and video surveillance as well as the expansion of IP telephony are actions aimed at providing quality services to citizens
Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, today introduced new technological equipment with which the City has: the recent introduction of the electronic office, by which people can interact with local government, facilitating and speeding up procedures compared to traditional treatments face, the installation of a communication system based on wireless technology for connecting municipal buildings, wireless and video surveillance in the district and the custom solution Total Network Office to integrate telephony services of the various municipal offices in a single system.
Gomez referred to these actions as "economic and social developments that will affect the quality of life of citizens", focusing on the benefits of electronic office "to avoid physical displacement to the town hall."
The mayor said it is "progress on cost saving measures, because outputs telephony between sites are free, and advances in performance," referring to wifi zones "that add value to leisure, rest and entertainment, especially for young people, "he said.
