The Governing Council, on a proposal from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, has authorized a total of 235,065 euros to extend several agreements with municipalities and Abarán Archena in order to maintain 63 seats for people with intellectual disabilities in centers day both locations.

Of the total authorized, 141,785 Euro for keeping 38 seats in central Archena day, and the remaining $ 93,280 to the 25 seats that the Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS) has agreed in central Abarán day.

These agreements, which were signed in December 2011, was extended until April 2013 in order to ensure the care of people with intellectual disabilities in the Region of Murcia.

This ensures the permanence of these people in their usual environment.

These services offer comprehensive care for dependent persons, in order to improve or maintain the best possible level of personal autonomy and support to families and carers.
