The Volunteers Platform Murcia presented on Monday, November 10 in Abarán, the Caravan Project Peace Is Possible, an activity aimed to raise awareness and disseminate in the Region of Murcia the values of peace, understood as a source of and basic welfare for all human and social progress in our community.
The caravan will be located in the Plaza de la Zarzuela all day, and volunteers inform citizens of the various associations that are participating in this project.
In the afternoon, from 20.00 hours, volunteers will move to HALL CULTURAL CENTER "LA PLAZA" at the David Temple Street, where there will be an act for peace.
The event will include an exhibition of posters, audiovisual and multimedia formats reading a manifesto for peace to explain to the audience the possibilities of improvements in staff welfare Volunteers Platform promotes this through their selfless action for the promotion and development of a culture of peace, a culture that promotes respect for life, human dignity, values and attitudes that reflect and inspire participation.
The project comes with an inclusive, intercultural approach, and an educational perspective as a way to work together from different areas of a culture of peace.
