The Department of Social Welfare of the City Council held the First Meeting Abarán intercultural sports Abarán Village, an initiative for integration, which included the collaboration of the Department of Sports and the participation of migrant communities residing in the township.
The event took place on Sunday 15 March.
At the beginning of the meeting was read a manifesto in favor of intercultural coexistence towards integration between members of different cultures living in our town.

After reading the manifesto proceeded to the lighting of the Olympic flame municipal integration, which opened <<one fraternity party that provides the foundation for living together in respect and exchange peace, culturas>>.
The torch, which left from the Hermitage toured the main streets of town ending at the sports center "Prince of Asturias."
Once there, there was a show of traditional dances from different cultures and then held a football tournament.
The award ceremony took place at 18.30.
These events were attended by the mayor of Abarán, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, Councillor for Sports, Federico García Montiel, the Councillor for Social Welfare, M ª Carmen Tornero and Councilwoman Marta Amorós.
