The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, and the provincial director of the INSS, Francisco Sánchez Sánchez, inaugurated the new Municipal Office Management Information Service and National Institute of Social Security .
After the opening, have appeared at a press conference in which Gonzalez Tovar explained that the creation of the Municipal Office is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the City of Abarán and the Provincial Directorate of INSS on 6 November at the Delegation Government of the Region of Murcia.
"This agreement, the delegate stated aims to ensure that citizens living in the city have greater access to services offered by the INSS in their own municipal buildings, avoiding the commute to the Provincial Directorate."
Under the agreement, the City of Abarán has been launched in the office of City Council and staff and adequate material resources.
For his part, Gonzalez Tovar reported that the INSS has provided the staff of the Municipal Office technical information necessary to facilitate the performance of their duties as well as a hotline, where you can request an overview of the issues that be raised by citizens from the scope of municipal action, and the publications and brochures to edit the INSS, for their information and dissemination to users of the Office.
Thus, process and receive the documents submitted by local citizens, while the INSS report to the staff of the Office of the status of the files kept by the INSS on to them information required by stakeholders.
The government delegate said that, within the framework of the agreement between the INSS and the City of Abarán also carried out actions for the dissemination of information.
"Informative talks will be organized on various topics related to social protection, addressed to both city employees as a benefit recipients and the general public" Tovar explained.
The delegate added that proceedings be conducted for the simplification of administrative procedures.
Thus, in social projects developed by the City of Abarán, whose recipients must prove their status as a pensioner or the amount of his pension, the City sent to Service and Information Centre of the Social Security area relationship with information identifying the applicant, upon expiry of the deadline for submission of applications.
Subsequently, the INSS forwarded to the City, as soon as possible, an individual certification of each of the applicants stating the condition of the pensioner or annuitant, and in the latter case, the amount of pension.
The enforcement of these commitments will be undertaken by a monitoring committee comprising two representatives of the INSS and the City of Abarán.
Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, has welcomed the presence of government delegate and director of the INSS and added that "this is the brainchild of two corporations, one who cared to sign an agreement for the Office located in our municipality and a corporation that has been concerned with getting the materials and human resources to this office came to a successful conclusion. "
Gomez said that "the common goal of both corporations is to provide quality services to Abarán and meet the needs of all citizens."

Since the Municipal Office will process files on temporary disability (TD), a death, viudedades, orphanhood, old age pension, maternity and parental benefits, family benefits (child allowance) or low parts processing.
The Municipal Office of Information Service and National Institute of Social Security will be open Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 2:30 p.m., Plaza Vieja, 1 and has been blessed by the priest of the Church of San Juan Bautista, Francisco García.
Six other municipalities in the Region of Murcia have been signed to date to this agreement: Bullas, Moratalla, San Javier, Beniel, La Union and Los Alcazares.
