More than a hundred dogs gather at the gates of the Plaza de Toros de Abarán (14/12/2009)

The First Contest Canine pedigree dogs 'Villa de Abarán', met yesterday at the gates of the Plaza de Toros de Abarán, more than a hundred dogs with pedigree, very different races, coming from different points Murcia Region and other regions nearby.

With a high turnout, which filled even the most optimistic forecasts, the actions started with the pre-qualification based on race, sex and age of animals.

Subsequently, the judges focused on selecting the best dogs of each breed.

The first of these selections are made by categories: open class, young, puppies, baby, etc.

From there you chose the representative of each of the groups that came to the final.

In those categories also joined in pairs, male and female of the same race, and a children's category, which were younger players and their pets.

This competition, as well as to meet the best dog participant, also awarded the best local dog, that went to one of the most remarkable animals of the competition: Gandalf, a beautiful example of dogo argentino, owned by one of the owners of the popular Capi supermarket in Abarán.

In this regard it is noteworthy that local participation was more than acceptable, plus the number of bloodhounds arrived from different parts of the Region of Murcia, who joined other participants from different parts of the country, Castellón, Almería, Valencia, Alicante , Benidorm, and Albacete, among others.

As General of the police station contest in Abarán, exercised Liliana Rincón, and next to it, as a judge, was the abaranero Emilio Soto, Ramón besides Pedro Pablo Picazo and Fernández.

Ring stewards were Mary's Waltz, Juan Pedro Rubio, Julia Ribeiro, Pepita Olmos, Maria Jose Maldonado and Thomas Trinidad.
