"Whom do you seek?

Jesus of Nazareth

The Messiah?

The same "

With these words, accompanied by the sound of the horn announcing the search for Jesus of Nazareth to arrest him.

In Abarán, Easter Monday night, the horn part from the Plaza de la Zarzuela at 22.00 hours, covering the main streets of the town to complete its journey in the Plaza Vieja.

It is in this place they are representing, such a night as this, the scenes of the Arrest through participation and involvement of a company of amateur actors, their enthusiasm and this year under the direction of David Saorin Candel, delight the public with their performance.

At the request of the Board of Fraternity Pasionarias, Professor José Gil García wrote a stage adaptation of the Gospel texts that exalt the act of Holy Monday Horn, formerly represented and from the year '40 as an advertisement for the search of Jesus the Romans.

This tour, which began to be represented by members of the Royal Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno and Third of Romans, was relegated to second place and lost fans.

As a solution to this problem, in 2004 a representation on the scene of the Arrest of Christ, which is staged every year in the Plaza Vieja.

About 60 actors are part of the company in 2008 expanded its repertoire with another act entitled "Caiaphas and Annas."

The staging is supported by an audiovisual which commemorates the baptism of Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount, scenes that were recorded in natural landscapes Jarral, the Source of Benito and Sierra del Oro, landscapes that evoke and remind us the city of Jerusalem.

The script was collected and published in a book released last year at St. Paul's Church on Palm Sunday.

The Guild Board Pasionarias offers the possibility to anyone who wishes to participate in this work as people pin on condition only of being at 21.30 hours in the Plaza Vieja wearing the robes of any fraternity.
