The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Land and Housing, announces the third edition of the Mediterranean Landscape.
The objective of this initiative is to implement measures to encourage the European Landscape Convention and to achieve greater sensitivity and appreciation of the landscape by the population.
These and other actions have been launched through PAYS.MED.URBAN project, part of the MED PROGRAMME 2007-2013 to the development of landscape in urban areas, which involved the Directorate General of Land and Housing with 14 other regions and institutions of the Mediterranean Basin.
Among the initiatives included in addition to the Mediterranean Landscape Award, the publication of a catalog of good prácticaspara the landscape in urban areas.
