Concluded between generations at the Hermitage (26/05/2010)

Last Saturday, May 22, the Ermita de los Santos Medical II hosted the meeting of generations, organized by the City of Abarán through the Department of Social Welfare, Women, Family and Children and Education, Local Development, Employment and Youth.

These conferences were attended by grandparents, parents and male / female, and technical staff of the Prevention of dependency and Promotion of Personal Autonomy, Educational Intervention Project in the area child Youth and Employment Workshop "Andarraix."

These meetings, which have reached its second year, aim to foster relationships between different generations and to exchange experiences, knowledge and services between people of different ages.

Among the activities highlighted the championship of dominoes, a workshop bundles and different stands for the realization of crafts such as bracelets, bookmarks or masks.

Also popular games were held as oca, supersized, and participants were able to jump rope and play the rubber band.

The councilman of Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Turner, said "the excellent performance of these meetings, as well as the good response of citizens to this initiative, held for the second consecutive year and is getting great results in terms of coexistence between people of different ages. "
