A long demand by the residents of the population centers between the stretch of the A-33 motorway between Blanca and Jumilla has taken an important step towards its achievement after the approval of the Committee on Territorial Policy, Agriculture, Water and the Environment, the motion Presented by the Popular Party.
The initiative defended by the regional deputy of the PP, Jesus Cano, responds to a petition, according to his words that over time has resulted in numerous complaints as there is no road signaling that indicates the existing population centers in that stretch Of autovía where there is great change of agricultural and wine companies.
The approved motion expressly states that the "El Boquerón" hamlet of Abarán, also located on the RM-A10 before reaching La Zarza, bears on the vertical signs of the expressway.
It has also been agreed that both the Regional Park of Sierra de la Pila and the Jumilla Wine Route also appear on road signs
The initiative unanimously approved by all parliamentary groups asks the Ministry of Development to cover this lack of indication on the Altiplano dual carriageway and has incorporated an amendment to the PSOE.
