The regional government today approved a grant to the municipalities of Abarán, Caravaca de la Cruz and Las Torres de Cotillas, worth EUR 319,961, for improvements and refurbishment of the Youth Space and preparation of the Comprehensive Plan for Youth.
Specifically, the City of Abarán receive 272,612 euros for the implementation of the rehabilitation project of the ground floor of the Cultural Center for its adaptation to the young.
With this remodeling will serve the youth associations in the municipality of Abarán and promote youth participation in political, social and sporting.
Moreover, the city of Caravaca de la Cruz will get 22,989 euros for the reform of the Youth Space, which consist of the completion and finishing work of the new classrooms and offices, as well as the creation of new toilet facilities, offices and classrooms Multi on the first floor of the building housing the Space.
These centers are places of meeting space and versatile alternative uses that provides young people with the necessary tools, high quality and easily accessible to most youth, with which to develop artistic, creative, training, share knowledge and experience and show the rest of the population.
On the other hand, the City of Las Torres de Cotillas receive 24,360 euros for the development of the Youth Comprehensive Plan, which is structured into three operational phases: the first analysis and diagnosis of township youth, the second selection lines performance and design of actions and the third implementation of the plan.
The Plan is intended to follow the basic principles of action of the autonomous region between the towns of the region.
