López Moreno published his first book] | El Valle de Ricote through their strengths will be presented on December 23 |

Jesús Joaquín López Moreno presents her first book entitled The Valley of Ricote through their strengths, on 23 December at 7:00 p.m. in Room Guerrero-Mendoza Theatre Cultural Centre Square.

The book, edited by Natursport, will be presented by archaeologist Juan Antonio Ramírez Eagle, co-director of excavations at Siyasa and member of the Archaeological Institute "Tudmir", accompanied by Miguel Angel Gil Campos, Director General of Tourism, Antonio Eugenio Gomez Abarán mayor.

The book is divided into two main blocks (see attached index): the first addresses the analysis of ancient and medieval settlements given in the Ricote Valley, includes for the first time in a single book summarizing the work of various historians and archaeologists who have dealt with some of the sites or habitats in this natural region.

Together with already written and known history of the Ricote Valley, we can find their own historical contributions made by Jesus J.

Lopez during the last decade, and in which occasional drops archaeological find.

Among these are studies such as the one given on the Berber settlement in the Darrax (White) and Abarán in the Middle Ages, the territorial organization of the White Castle in the Andalusian period, only two wells in our region given river or path of the Roman road Carthago Nova - valricotíes Complutum for land.

The second part is fully devoted to the description of a total of eight routes historical novel, in which the traveler may go through the Valle de Ricote from Archena to Cieza, and have in common a visit at least one of its strengths in each itinerary.

Namely, Las Peñas de Ojós, Ricote, White Darrax, Bolvax, Siyasa, Cieza, Archena and port of Losi.

But not only sufficient description of the ruins of the forts and interpretation of historical landscape, but, with this work, the traveler may pass through the various ancient and medieval elements still present in the Ricote Valley.

Lopez, a member of the Cultural Association Carrahila has been approached by more than thirty written in various printed works, the study of ancient and medieval settlements exist in the Ricote Valley.

The articles include those made for the last three editions of the International Congress of the Ricote Valley, whose organization is an integral part.
