The Hermitage of Saints Cosmas and Damian Doctors hosts for the second year the assembly of Bethlehem Christmas City will be inaugurated on Sunday 21 December at 24:00.

The innovative structure at this year three different areas, which has led to greater complexity in installation.

Some 367 animals, 224 figures, of which 192 are fixed and 32 are set in motion, 88 plants, some 77 houses and a variety of objects have been used for assembly.

Some 15 natural bonsai recreate the landscape setting.

Among the materials used for installation have been used about 600 kilos of virgin cork cork, 20 cane palm and card, 25 portholes, 16 white light bulbs, a miniature Ferris wheel made of wood, a carpenter's bench, flat stones , a water pump, 16 outbreaks of blue light, 70 kg of cork, and two boxes of washed stone, among other materials.

The combination of blue and white lights recreates the atmosphere, providing differentiation between day and night.

Their preparation began last month and a half and installation began on Sunday 7 December.

Assembly parts and craftsmanship have been made by the company of Isabel Turner cribs.

The manager, Jose Luis Molina, said that among others, the nativity of San Sebastian de los Reyes has crafted items that have mostly been assembled by the company as well as different associations of nativity scenes in the Region of Murcia.
