Abarán City Council, through the Department of New Technologies, has conducted a series of initiatives aimed at informing citizens on the implementation of the new digital terrestrial television.

Among the activities were carried out some information days in schools in the locality and in the Cultural Center Plaza, Pensioner's Home and Social Centre Boat Hoya del Campo, in order to provide a comprehensive information service aimed at all groups.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Department of New Technologies Abarán City Council and the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Paseo de la Ermita was the stage last weekend in an information tent on Digital Terrestrial Television where users could interact and resolve doubts about the new television.

The Councillor for New Technologies, José Gabriel Cano Montoro, together with the council of Social Welfare and Women, Family and Minor, Maria del Carmen Turner and Elizabeth Carrasco as well as the Municipal Socialist Party spokesman, Gil Corpus officially opened the facility and were assisted by a team of professionals Domotelsa company, which has been serving users during the 26, 27 and 28 June.

The tent was made for a ticket, a point of information, a practical viewing area with different types of housing facilities aimed at individual and collective housing and appliances that make up the installation, a practice area tuners, made by different tuners and controls to interact with them and know their functionality as well as a gathering area, conference or leisure.

The project's director, Tania Villar, has reported on the excellent assistance of the public, especially in the day on Sunday.

"Younger people have made more technical questions while the question of older people were a little wider," he said.
