I Walk The Village Cycling Abarán was held this morning with the participation of 300 riders on a journey of more than 35 km away from areas between the towns of Blanca, Cieza and Abarán.
To develop the test has had with members of the Local Police of these three municipalities, civil protection, ambulance, brush truck, and have enabled several refreshment points (solid and liquid) located at Km 10 (Ermita of Our Lady of Good Success) and at km 25 (Solana Knife).
Routes MTB Club Murcia has taken charge of the technical assistance of the participants.
It has also received medical care (Dr. Julio García Yelo, Clinica San Damiano) closing the group of walkers.
Councillor for Sports, Federico García Montiel, highlighted the good acceptance of the activity by brokers, the excellent work of volunteers and effective local police, civil protection and health care, as well as technicians from the Department of Sports positive and competitive walkers.
On the other hand, thanked the cooperation of the sponsors who have contributed in supplying food, fruit, energy bars, sports drinks, water and soft drinks.
The march has been supported by members of MTB Routes clubs Murcia, Sierra de la Pila, Zigzag or Posvale Club, among others, as well as participants from different points on the national scene.
