School Sports Association organized the Chess Club Chess II Open Infantil Abarán Fair, which has, in this second edition, gather the same number of participants in the first game.

The tournament, under the direction of Daniel Palazón Marín, and Juan Luis Saorin as referee, was attended by 44 players of the Federations of Murcia and Valencia, Alicante and from different locations in the Region of Murcia. Among them was No. 7 in Spain (27 from Europe and 37 in the world), the International rankig FIDE in its class, and several players with international and national ELO.

Rain forced the change of the local game, under Plaza Vieja, outdoor space by building CIMA (Center for Multifunctional Integrated), new installations of the former Cultural Center Plaza.

The organizers noted the successful development of the game and the great sportsmanship among the youth participants, who were presented with a shirt, a calculator, soft drinks and ragweed.

Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, attended the awards ceremony, accompanied by the Councillor for Sports, Federico García Montiel, who congratulated the participants, inviting them to attend next year at the II Open Chess Abarán Fair.

The vice president of the Chess Federation of the Region of Murcia, José Gómez, and the president of Skull's Chess Club of Hoya del Campo, were other attendees at the tournament and awards ceremony.

Game System

The game system used was a 6 rounds, with a pace of play 10 minutes and two seconds per move delay.

The game rules are included in the FIDE rules and matching was carried out with computer support Swiss Perfect.

Awards

.- The tournament champion received a PSP 1000 and a trophy.

.- The 2 nd ranked MP4 and received a trophy.

.- The 3rd place received an MP3 and a trophy.

Also, the 1 º s classified special categories - local, sub 14, sub 12 and sub 10 - MP4 received a trophy, and the 2 ° s and 3 s classified, two separate trophies.
