The Association of Widows "Virgen del Oro" of the town has scheduled a series of activities for Saturday February 6, with which it wants to commemorate the International Day of the Widow, which was held on the 2nd of this month.
These activities will start at 16.00.
Coinciding with the celebration, Maria Antonia Belmonte Gómez, Medical Services and Occupational Health and Safety Surveillance and Health Promotion of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, will give a talk entitled "Habits of life for women's health" .
This conference will take place at 5 pm, is part of the cycle of lectures organized by the Association of Widows "Virgen del Oro" for the months of February, March and April.
Among the speakers is the official historian of the town, Joseph S.
Carrasco Molina, who will give a talk on the words and jargon Abarán and the president of the Center for Abaraneros, José Gil García, talk about literature and poetry, and the councilman of Culture of the City of Abarán, Mercedes de la Fuente Tornero .
